Dental problem ?

My small brother had 16 teeth removed 4 days ago. Temporary dentures were put in. This morning he woke up with swollen top lip and blistering. What could be causing this and what should we do ?
He is taking Penicillin VK 500 Mg, Tylenol and ibuprofen.
