* If you are going on a safari, watch your clothing choices. Bright colors (such as whites and blues) attract wild animals as well as insects. Camouflage clothing, is in some cases, illegal to wear.
* Never approach a wild animal, even if they appear harmless.
* Drinking water - it is safer to drink bottled or mineral water.
* Tipping is OK although not mandatory in most places. A tip of $5 (or equivalent) is acceptable for most services.

Thanks for the info; i almost forgot about these things. It's very important to follow these travel guielines. A friend of mine got robbed after displaying his new rolex watch. Most of the times people are nice; but they are also very poor so if they get the chance to make, say a thousand dollar or so (which is the salaray of several month) by robbing a tourist , they do it. So take care of yourself and watch your stuff. There is no need for wearing expensive jewelry in Keny anyways.

A minor pointer to that. Hotels generally charge excessive fees as do hotels. I believe an online reserve of currency at a reputable currency exchange specialist is a better ides. If you look at Travelex India they have a 0% commission policy for online conversion.
