Kailash Manasarovar Yatra is a sacred mountain and lake located in the remote western Tibet region of China. The mountain is considered sacred by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and followers of the Bon religion. The lake, situated at an altitude of 4,590 meters, is one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world and is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva by Hindus. It is also a popular pilgrimage site, and many devotees undertake the arduous trek around the mountain or visit the lake as part of their spiritual journey.
