Hi, I got tired of trying to convince my so called friend to travel with me, so I decided to go to Beijing by myself. As you might already suspect, I do not know where to start from! I need a good hotel, a good plan and hopefully a good mood. I realize it will not be as much fun as with my friends, but anyway, at least no one will rush me while I’m in a museum!

A great start for you would be the Forbidden City. It is close enough to the other landmarks, with one exception: the Great Wall. Here you can learn about the former emperors from China. For a panoramic view, you can go up to the Emperor Hotel Bar while you are in the Forbidden City. The Shichahai Lakes are nearby, if you are interested in a lake ride. Also, if you want to ride a bike, you can do so in the Hutongs, which is a specific Chinese neighborhood. There is a district called Drum and Bell Tower filled with shops, cafes and workshops. I admire your courage! I wish I could say the same about me. However, when I booked my hotel in Beijing I used RihlaPrime’s services. I visited, of course, the Great Wall of China (that got me really tired) and then I enjoyed the Chinese cuisine at the Dali Courtyard Restaurant. You can find it in the Dum and Bell Tower district. If you are into shopping, I recommend the Panjiayuan Flea Market as well!

They are not genuine .
