  • Hanghzhou - a romantic city

Hangzhou is known as one of the most romantic cities in China for its west Lake. It is located 200 kilometers southwest of Shanghai and is the capital of Hangzhou Province, one of the seven ancient capitals of China. Here I’ll recommend some good sights to see in Hangzhou(to see the full introduction, please go to echinacities.com).

Lingering Snow on the Broken Bridge (Duan Qiao Can Xue): This stone-arched bridge is known as “Lover’s bridge”, and is said to be the place where the legendary White Snake and Xu Xian first met

Lotus in the Breeze at Crooked Country yard (Qu Yuan Feng He): This is the site of a wine shop of the Southern Song Dynasty, named after the lotuses in the country yard. Here you can find various kind of lotuses and in the grove are tall fir trees, making it quiet and cool.

With spectacular natural beauty and a cultural heritage dating back over a thousand years, Hangzhou is one of China's most attractive cities for travel. The Chinese say that in heaven there is paradise, while on earth there is Suzhou and Hangzhou.

There are few places more romantic in China than Hangzhou. Located in Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou is one of the country's most prized destinations. Throughout Chinese history, the mystical West Lake has been recounted in numerous poems, stories, and paintings.
