However Karwar is around 400 kms away from b'lore.
In Karwar is an island called Devbagh. It has a hotel, and it's government owned. Sadly it probably costs around 8k a night. But the beach is very clean, they have a number of activities and the island is tiny, with no one but the hotel and staff living there.
