Best Hill Staion in North India

I am planning to visit hill station. So I want to know which is the best hill station where I can enjoy my vacation trip.

This time .. everywhere it is very good in North because of the monsoons and lots of rain. But going too high might be dangerous because of landslides. So right now, best places might be Shimla, or Kasauli ... The hills are lush green and offer a beautiful site. Another place to visit is a place called Chail. It is near Shimla, on way from Chandigarh to Shimla (approzimately same distance , i.e. 110 kms from chandigarh ). IT is a place untouched by masses , so is very neat and near to nature ... I went there last year and it was a Gem at that time ..

Mussoorie

Mussoorie is no doubt the best kept hill station in north india with most favorable climate and facilities. recently there have been new specialty lodgings like the raincoats camp that provides a totally different perspective to the hill station.

In comparison to Mussoorie, Shimla and others I would amount Nanital as the best location to rest and spend your holidays. Nainital does not look crowded. The river is the appeal of this mountain place. You can go for sailing on the lake and rest.

Had gone recently and didn't find Shimla to be that great. Too touristy and commercialized now. Manali however is one of the most beautiful places I have been to so far. Leh ladakh- yet to be witnessed
