Religion, education and social class all influence greetings in India.
- Greet the eldest or most senior person first, this is a hierarchical culture. When greeting an elder, there is also a touching of the feet of the elder, with the right hand, then touching your chest. Hugs and kisses as a form of greeting should be avoided.
- Smaller, rural areas see women as caregivers, mothers, and not much more, although Women’s Rights groups are beginning to crop up. More progressive areas like the state of Kerala have women’s roles comparable to men.
- Alcohol consumption prohibited in some states and banned in some cities deemed "holy". Traditional Indian women do not drink or smoke.
- You may be asked to wash your hands before and after sitting down to a meal. Always use your right hand to eat, whether you are using utensils or your fingers.
- Drugs are illegal in India. Possession of small amounts can carry a mandatory 10 year sentence. Drug laws are heavily enforced. Drunken driving is also looked upon strictly.

India offers a lot of incredible and gorgeous attractions for visit but I have a good experience of Andaman Islands because I have been there numerous times in my life and every time had lots of fun there. It is a adorable place for visit and you can enjoy there really charm of nature beauty. If you like to see natural places then I will sugest you must go there once in your life.
