There are some places to visit in Ahmedabad during the trip.
Manek Chowk - Manek Chowk is amongst the busiest areas in Ahmedabad. It’s amongst the most popular market areas in the city renowned for its gold trade market. Situated on the east of the Jama Masjid, the market is also a favorite for some of the most scrumptious food with families driving up there for some of the most delectable food in the city.
Science City - It is an educational centre, which is focused on science and technology. This science city houses IMAX 3D Theatre, exhibition hall, amphitheatre and thrill rides. Musical Dancing Fountain, Aquamobil and ride simulations are the other attractions of the city.
Akshardham temple - this temple is one of the most popular attractions of the city. The temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, reflects the wealth of Gujarati architecture.
Shaking Minarets - The minarets are constructed in such a manner that, even if you apply a little force on the upper arch, the minarets tends to swing. The connecting passage between the two minarets remains free of any kind of vibration.
Sabarmati Ashram - A Gandhi Memorial Center, a Library and a Sound-and-Light spectacle offer an interesting display of the Mahatma's life and work.
Kankaria Lake - The lake is circular, however, at one point it opens into a walkway, which leads to garden called Nagina Wadi. The lake is a popular picnic spot with recreation center, surrounded by parks, 'Bal Vatika', an aquarium, a boat club, a natural historical museum and a zoo.. This lake is located in the southern part of the city in Mani nagar area.
