    There are many places in kodaikanal one has to visit without missing them namely Berijam Lake, Coakers Walk, Bryant Park, Kodai Lake, Kurinjiandavar Temple, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks, Silent Valley View, Devil's Kitchen, Guna Caves and Pine Forest. Homemade chocolates, eucalyptus oil, herbal oils, herbal tea, coffee and a wide variety of fruits like plums, pears, figs, avocados, peaches, grapes etc occupy a definite place in the shopping list.

    The airport closest to Kodaikanal is Madurai which lies 120 kilometres away from the hill station. Madurai airport is linked with Coimbatore and Chennai air-ports. Both these airports connect Kodaikanal to cities around the country and the world. The railway station nearest to Kodaikanal is Kodai road which is 3km away. The Coimbatore Junction is the nearest major railway station which is connected to cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Ernakulam and Trivandrum. Kodaikanal can also be reached by Bus from cities across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Buses are also available from Bangalore.
