Since the Philippines is an archipelago, it depends on where you are going. If you are looking for beautiful beaches, Boracay and El Nido is the hottest spot. If you are a nature lover try to check out Sagada, Mt Province and Bohol. And if you want to go diving or do surfing go to Siargao or visit Tubbataha. To be honest, a 5 or even 10 day tour is not enough to visit the Philippines so you better prioritize.

the best time to visit the Philippines is during summer time between the months of March to June.. there are many beautiful beaches one can go to because of the numerous islands that Philippines has.. one should fine a good travel agency.. there are many agencies of this knid in Metro Manila.. one can also get info from brochures in airports and seaports around the country..

I would recommend to rent a house or to stay at one of the numerous beach resorts. We tried both variants. And the both were very good. But please spend some time on tripadviser to make a research.
For example, on Siquijor we stayed at Charisma Resort, owned by one English man and his Pilipino wife. It was rather cute, the service was good as well.

The number of days would depend on the place you are going to. Philippines is an archipelago with more than 7,000 islands so decide first where you want to go.
