Is it difficult getting a travel visa to Russia?

I can not understand why people say that getting travel visa to Russia is difficult, but that is not true. I know some rules and regulations are changed, but you can easily get the visa. It is better to contact your regional visa officer.

This depends upon your background and the government authority of country whether they are willing to give visa to person or not.
