There’s so much to do in and around London’s Southbank that you’ll be spoilt for choice over where to go and what to do first. Why not plan a day with something for everyone starting with a trip on the London Eye, the world’s biggest observation wheel, followed by a wander round London’s Aquarium, home to 500 species of aquatic life and lunch at one of the dozens of waterside brasseries. Spend a leisurely evening of culture at the Hayward Gallery or gallery@oxo tower, then head out to eat. There's a wide array of restaurants including British, Cuban, French, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Thai, Indian, Japanese and Turkish with restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. Stroll along the South Bank and you're taste buds are sure to be tempted. The only problem you may find is narrowing down your choice to just one!
