Hello,
I will be staying in Rome for nine nights in December, and am looking for a cheap place to stay near the train station. I've stayed in the Scott House and Hotel Aphrodite in the past, but it appears they've raised their prices a bit and might not be the best value any more. They used to the 45-50 euros a night. Is there anything else comparable in the area? Or anything around 65-70 euros, that might be better?
I've looked at Hotel Borromeo, and someone also recommended Hotel del Corso, near the Spanish Steps; anyone have experience with either?
The termini area is fine for me (I'm thinking it's the cheapest), but maybe the forum side would be better.
