Walk water balls on Lake Alster in Hamburg, Germany

Hamburg is one of my (Peggy is part of the cool yabbedoo team) favourite cities in Germany, actually one of my favourite cities in general. I lived there for nearly 3 years and met amazing people. I just love cities close to the sea (I am living in Amsterdam right now) and in Hamburg you even have a beach IN the city. A real one.

A friend of mine told me about this event that took place last summer.

Walk Water Balls – a 2m big plastic ball with you inside, walking over the water. A dream becomes true…

The event took place on the 2 car free Sundays last summer, unfortunately Hamburg reduced this to only 1 car free Sunday for 2011 so make sure to SAVE THE DATE.

I really want to try to go to Hamburg for that Week end because it looks like so much fun.
