Has anyone from the US paid a visit to Germany? If so, what was it like, what were the people like, and did you feel safe and welcome there as a visitor, and a tourist? Were there any foreigners who worked there for a time? Thanks.

Why not? Germany is a country in centre of the Europe, not in high mountains...

I am from the UK not the US but I have visited Germany many times and am now living in Berlin. I have always felt safe and welcome in Germany. Obviously you have to be sensible as you would travelling anywhere but I would say that in general it is quite safe. Germany is a beautiful country with lots of interesting cities and stunning countyside. It has something for everyone and makes a wonderful holiday destination in my opinion.

Germany is a nice place to visit. You won't have any problems there. People a mostly friendly. Most of the speak english so you won't have any problems communicatin. However, i don't know what you want there. It's quite boring. Unless you like old castles and beer; they have plenty of that.
