Are silly bands available/popular in germany?

Just wondering because i have to go on a german exchange journey, and I need presents for my host family. I wanted to include silly bands in my present because I thought it was a big thing in our culture recently. I think this would be a good present, but if they already had them over there, it might be a pointless present

Yeah, I am ready for that. You can also use sweets or chocolates with this bands for present. It shows the different impression of you infront of others.
