I am planning on leaving the US May 6, 2010 and traveling to Spain. When in Spain, I am backpacking throughout Europe (Spain, then France, then Italy). I will spend about 1.5-2 weeks in each country.
Then I am planning on staying with a Spanish host family from June - August 24 somewhere in Spain. They will be paying me to watch their kids (but in pocket money, it's not an "actual" job). I'm going to be an Au Pair.
The total time is 110 days... but after I get back from Italy I will only be "working" for less than 90 days. I think you are still technically a tourist for 90 days.
Do I need a visa?
