Spain Tomato Festival began in 1945; the time is the last Wednesday in August every year. It is the one of the most famous festivals in the world.
According to the legend, one day, a band of this city swaggers through the streets with the trumpet. At this time, a group of young people suddenly grab the tomatoes to the microphone into each other, and see who can throw tomatoes into it. This is the origin of Tomato Festival.
The same as the bullfighting Festival, Tomato Festival is also the Spanish famous traditional festival; the festival usually lasts for a week.
