  • One week in Formentera

Just got back from an incredible week in Formentera, the smallest of the Balearic Islands in Spain, and I can't wait to share my experience! Let me start by saying, Formentera has stolen my heart and is hands down the best Balearic Island I've ever been to. From the moment I set foot on its pristine shores, I knew I was in for something special.
During my stay, I had the opportunity to explore some breathtaking places. One of my favorites was Ses Illetes, a jaw-dropping beach with crystal-clear turquoise waters and powdery white sand. It felt like stepping into paradise, and I couldn't resist spending hours lounging under the warm Mediterranean sun.
Another highlight was visiting the charming village of Sant Francesc Xavier. Its narrow cobblestone streets, adorned with vibrant bougainvillea, created a picturesque setting. I enjoyed strolling around the quaint shops and cafés, immersing myself in the laid-back island vibe.
And let's not forget about the food! One dish that left a lasting impression on my taste buds was the "Bullit de Peix," a traditional fish stew. The flavors were simply divine, and every bite transported me to the heart of Mediterranean cuisine. It's a must-try for anyone visiting Formentera.
If you're planning a trip to Formentera, I highly recommend using this Travel Guide to make the most of your time here. It provided me with invaluable tips, from hidden gems to the best local restaurants. It was like having a knowledgeable friend by my side throughout the journey, ensuring I didn't miss out on any unforgettable experiences. My time in Formentera was a dream come true. The island's natural beauty, welcoming atmosphere, and mouthwatering cuisine make it an absolute paradise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SW_o...KInCL&index=12

Once an oasis for hippies like Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix, Formentera is now a luxury destination where the rich park their yachts to relax after a heavy week in Ibiza. Although the island is compact, there is plenty to do.

Contrary to popular belief, Formentera is ideal for families looking to escape the craziness of Ibiza. Think whitewashed beaches, aquamarine water, bohemian markets and some of the best food in the Ibiza area. It’s the kind of place you’ll find your mind wandering back to on those grey, drizzly winter days.
