How do you spend Halloween?

I had almost forgotten it was Halloween. I had arranged to go away, totally oblivious. Here in South Africa, it is not really celebrated, although it would be nice. Halloween comes from a time in Europe when pagans honoured their dead. In Africa, the dead are usually called ¨ancestors¨, and it would be lovely to carry on a tradition in that vein.
