  • Isle of Mull - Self Catering Accommodation

As an integral part of the island’s past, these two Isle Of Mull self catering cottages are a cosy alternative to an Isle of Mull hotel.

The sitting/dining area is still home to some of the portholes from the original TSMV Loch Fyne - the first diesel electric passenger vessel. Well known on the west coast of Scotland, this boat used to run as a ferry from Oban to the Isle of Mull from 1931 until approximately forty years ago.

The Smiddy Cottage is equally as fascinating as its counterpart. Surviving as a smith’s throughout the Second World War, the living room then went on to house a 1946 Bedford lorry until the early seventies. With all accommodation on the ground floor, this cottage is a perfect base for anyone looking for self-catering on the Isle Of Mull. Either cottage can be equipped with a cot, high chairs & Wi-Fi access, making these holiday homes suitable for young families too.
