Morning departure from Riat or hotel, arrival at noon at the Kasbah Aït Benhaddou (about 4 hours). The Kasbah, famous because it has been run major international films, is under protection of UNESCO and is still inhabited in one of their homes.
En route from Ouarzazate to Ait Benhaddou (about 35 Km), local food in a typical Moroccan Kasbah near the Taourit, visit to the Kasbah and the Medina of Ouarzazate. Finally, optional visit to the Atlas Studios, important sets of vintage films shot in action or Ourazazate. This structure is considered the largest worldwide among the movie sets “open air”.

Essaouira
Morning departure from hotel or destination Riat Essaouira (about 160 km, 2 hours 30 min. Travel)
On the road leading into the Atlantic Ocean can find some Berber women cooperatives that work with a particular olive collecting argan trees. This ancient plant is protected by UNESCO since it is endangered and lives only in this part of Morocco. In this olive nut is extracted with a stone mortar oil that contains an infinite series of properties: besides being a powerful anti-free radical for skin care, is also used for food and flavor reminiscent of toasted almonds. After visiting one of these cooperatives is partly to Essaouira with arrival at noon.
There will be a free visit to the Medina, and after a pause for lunch: stop at a kiosk near the harbor where the fish is cooked on the grill in view of customers. In the afternoon visit to the walls and bastions Portuguese, who conquered the city in 1500.

Ouzoud Waterfalls

Ouzoud in Berber means “olive” and the name of the falls referred to the cultivation of olives in this area. During the walk to the river, there are numerous little shops for souvenirs and in the end, there are several boats that transport you to the other side (there is also a small bridge to cross on foot). This place is very quiet and relaxing destination (in summer) of many Moroccans who seek a little fresh.
After about 2 km from the falls, the Berber people Tanaghmelt funny is easily accessible on foot. There we have the chance to eat in a typical restaurant on the road and picturesque waterfalls.

The village is inhabited by Berbers of the mountains, and summer is a vacation destination for many Moroccans or shelves. Souvenir shops, campgrounds and many quaint restaurants on the grass, creating a relaxing atmosphere just a few kms. of Marrakech.
