The Sahara (The Great Desert) is the world's largest hot desert. At over 9,400,000 square kilometers (3,630,000 sq mi), it covers most of Northern Africa, making it almost as large as Europe or the United States. The only larger desert in the world is Antarctica, classified as such because of very low precipitation rates. The Sahara stretches from the Red Sea, including parts of the Mediterranean coasts, to the outskirts of the Atlantic Ocean. To the south, it is delimited by the Sahel, a belt of semi-arid tropical savanna that comprises the northern region of central and western Sub-Saharan Africa.

The most interesting thing happened this year that parts of Sahara desert in western Algeria received snow fall this year. You can never predict what nature has locked in its vaults.

The Sahara is one of the hottest places on Earth. Even though temperatures there may rise to 136 F (57.7 C), its dryness, not heat, that makes a place like the Sahara a desert. The frozen continent of Antarctica is so dry that some scientists consider it a desert, too.

This desert receives less than three inches of rain a year and because of it's less rain desert is growing day by day. Before some years, I also visited this desert and it's Rider camels at sunset itīs amazing.

Sahara is the another name of adventure. I never been there but I have deep interest about that. But the tour needed to be designed in manner that it would be safe. As most of the entry point is covered by miscreants and most importantly, the red eyes of the negative nature is always present.
