One of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Great Wildebeest Migration- is here again. Starting July to October over 3 million animals, the wildebeest, zebras, Thomson’s gazelle will be crossing the Mara river in the Masai Mara Game reserve in search of greener pasture on the other side of the Savannah grassland plains.
In hot pursuit are the predators – lion, cheetah leopard and the crocodiles who will be lurking on the banks of the river to pounce on the crossing herds! This is one of the few lifetime phenomena that one cannot afford to miss.
