  • Where for lovers in Vietnam?

As I have introduced at a previous article about the most special LOVE MARKET in The Sapa Mountain of Vietnam, but this story that I would like to share with you a secret that all people in Vietnam got to know this place The Valley of Love, Da Lat
Dalat, "The City of Love", "Le Petit Paris", and "City of Eternal Spring" - has long been popular with Vietnamese and expatriate artists and writers who have taken up residence in villas around town. The area, originally inhabited by the Lat and Ma hill tribles which now live in nearby Chicken Village and Lat Village, increased in popularity during the French colonial era. More than 2,000 beautiful French villas dot the area.

Today, Dalat is undoubtedly a beautiful tourist town. The vast majority of visitors are both domestic and foreign tourists on short package tours, drawn by the scenery, vivid blue skies, fresh air, flower-filled parks, and local edible treatment. Dalat is a favorite destination for company weekend outings, family get-away, and most of all, honeymoons. For overseas visitors, it offers a chance to cool down, view a bit of the French legacy, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Also, Da Lat is surrounded by some of the best mountain biking, hiking and canyoning opportunities in Vietnam. Da Lat's high altitude of 1,500-2,000m and fertile landscape make it one among Vietnam's premium agricultural areas, producing a variety of fruits, vegetables and flowers that do not grow in the lowlands. In markets as far north as Hanoi, vegetables and flower vendors will tout their "made in Da Lat" produce.

For couples, Valley of Love (Thung Lung Tinh Yeu) is the premium place to go. The Valley of Love is 5km north of Da Lat, Vietnam. Its former name is Valley of Peace. In 1972 with the creation of lake Da Thien, its name was changed.

The Valley of Love is in the temperate central highlands of Vietnam. The cool temperatures attract natives and tourists to the area. The temperature high in the summer is 25 C!

There are cowboys wearing guns and riding horses. The relationship between love and fierce western cowboys is unclear, but they are there.

The man-made lake is beautiful. Sailboats and paddle boats ply the waters. People scoff at the swan-shaped paddle boats. Yet, you can see a relationship between love and couples in paddle boats.

The lake is surrounded by hilly slopes with pine trees. The shore is wide, offering a large area to stretch out and picnic.
