Singapore is such a fantastic place to hang around. If you have enough money into your wallet then you must try this place once. I had been there last year with my family. We hired a bus because it was not at all possible to cover up the distance by foot. It was seriously an amazing experience.

Singapore is pretty good attraction in Asia basically it is an Island and measured as the smallest country. But its unique culture and outstanding beauty with lots of popular destinations attract tourist like Sentosa, Singapore Zoo, Universal Studios, Chinatown and Boat Quay are the main tourist’s attraction.

Over the years Singapore has been transformed from a popular vacation destination to a conventioneers' mecca teeming with tour groups and delegates. Singapore's lodging has visibly changed to accommodate this clientele: extensive refurbishment and growth with more varied services has been the trend. Luxury still abounds, and there are still places where exceptional personal service hasn't fallen by the wayside. Indeed, in 2004 Singapore was one of only three cities (along with Chicago and Bangkok) to have three of its hotels ranked in Travel & Leisure's annual "100 World's Best Hotels" poll. The hotels making the cut were the Four Seasons, Raffles, and the Ritz-Carlton Millenia.

Guests to Singapore might as well have bona fide international IDs and visas to drop in Singapore. Requisitions for such visas could be made at the individual nations' elevated requisitions or abroad missions. On the other hand, visas are not needed for Commonwealth residents, British international ID holders, and Republic of Ireland nationals for a stay of up to 14 days. All forward guests may as well have travel permits good for no less than three months from the time of landing.

Living in Singapore is very tough. Prices are high, yet salary level is lower than other cities similar to Singapore's standard. The quality of living is afterall lower than many cities. Singapore only looks good if compares to cities in developing countries like India, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam or Indonesia. But if you really compare to more developed countries in the region like South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia and Taiwan, Singapore ranks lower. And remember, it looks good only to mainly foreigners because foreigners do not understand Singapore enough and do not get a clear picture of how Singaporeans struggle to make ends meet with monthly salaries after tax deduction and social security (known as CPF in Singapore) deduction. It left with lesser disposable income. Can you imagine life without cars for young families with babies or young children? Public transportation is only self-claimed to be world class but in fact it's not that efficient at some point (though it's not terrible). Certain places you stay or work do need cars instead of public transportation. Not all places in Singapore are as convenient as what some foreigners believe it to be from listening to others or from reading in articles. Cars are extremely expensive and housing prices are shooting up every year, leaving many middle class people feeling hard. It's a stressful and harder place to live as compared to the 80s and 90s. Medical services are expensive. There is a joke in Singapore - You can die but you can't get sick. It means that you can afford to die asap without spending much but you can't afford to be sick because you'll end up getting hospitalized and pay for treatments, which will cost you bombs, even your medisave from social security is not enough to cover. It can be unbearable if you live too term in Singapore if you don't get a comfortable income AT LEAST. If you're a single, young man/woman, you'll still survive well. But if you have family with children, it can be tough.
