With the relaxed visa application procedures and shorter waiting times for visa applications for US, more Chinese nationals are traveling to the US. As a result, an executive of Air China, says that business is picking up this year.
According to Chi Zhihang, General Manager of Air China North America, there has been significant progress this year. From October 2010 to September 2011 alone, over one million visas were approved by the US consulates in China. This figure represents an increase of more than 40 per cent compared to the previous year.
