Vietnam is a country of natural beauty and charming cultures, it offers a unique blend of the East and West with plenty of sights, sounds and smells.

Bustling onto the international "must see" destinations in recent years, Vietnam's combination of diverse natunal beauty, fascinating history, lovely climate nad mixed culture makes it an intriguing destination for travellers of all ages and interests.

The variety is endless in the fantastic land which is renowned for the genuine warmth of its people. Travel from the "rice bowl" of the Mekong Delta and witness the bustle of Ho Chi Minh City before heading north to the stunning beaches of Nha Trang or Danang. In central Vietnam, you will find charming Hoi An and the Imperial Capital of Hue. Further north is Hanoi, city of lakes. Experience the stunny beauty of Ha Long Bay or the mountainous tribal area of Sapa.

As a tourist, you will find many exciting possibilities that match individual preferences. Vietnam offers great outdoor activities and sports. Nature lovers will enjoy bird watching, cycling and trekking while the adrenaline junkies will be thrilled with sailing, wind-surfing or rock climbing. Beach lovers will not be disappointed. With long stretches of sublime coastal lines, exotic beach retreats are assured.

Yet, there is more to meet the eyes. Vietnam cuisine is a gourmet delight with a mixture of Chinese, French and a little Thai and is one of the most sophisticated cuisines in Asia. It varies from region to region and is a total taste sensation everywhere you go. Must try and famous dishes are pho (rice noodles) and fresh spring rolls.

Shopping is a refreshing activity after a long and tiring day. There are a huge variety of souvenirs and traditional handicrafts. Local specialties include lacquer painting, reed mats, embroidery, tailor-made ao dais (female national costume) and mother-of-pearl inlay on ornaments and furniture, not to mention the local conical hats.
