hello...
I want to invite you to take a look and travel to Antigua Guatemala. This Colonial town offers lots of amenities, spanish classes, art and culture, restaurants, museums, textiles, folklore and much more surprises. I recommend you to contact me via PM for a contact and to have a place to stay and give you more information about Antigua. For spanish classes this little town is perfect to learn and meet people around the globe who will share amazing stories with you.

Studying Spanish and Spanish schools
I had to move to El Salvador to really learn Spanish, I tell the kids here that if they learn English they will have the world at their feet.
If anybody is interested in studying Spanish in Central America, I would recommend a new Spanish school in colonial Suchitoto, El Salvador(where I live) the school Pajaro Flor is run by a youth association and bennifits a scholarship program for poor kids from the area. Also Suchitoto make the perfect place as it is really laid back, not too touristy yet and pleanty of things to do in the area. For general travel information about El Salvador visit The Other El Salvador and if you decide to come to learn Spanish or just to travel look me up in Suchitoto, everybodies knows me here as El Gringo Roberto...Life is short...enjoy it while you can.

Claro!
I am a french/english canadian who's been traveling in Latin America for well over a year now. I new about 3 words before I came here! Now I speak an almost perfect spanish, I even think in spanish now!
Latin America is great for learning spanish! You can get a personal teacher very cheap, check universities, not schools!
And FYI, spanish from spain and latin america is different! Words like gaffas, coche... are only used in Spain, not here. It's a little like french from France and from Montreal/Quebec, it's a bit different!

Hi, I think Spanish is a language that you should learn because it's universal like English.People have different reasons to learn Spanish. Some home school their children. Others are looking for educational websites to help their children learn how to speak Spanish on the computer.Last edited by raj; 05-08-2009, 04:27 AM.
