Crimea is Ukrainian peninsula on the south of country. It looks much more like Italy but all roads are in a poor conditions , absolute absence of normal hotels and food - rates for smelly dwelling is like for luxury hotel in Turkey. But the sightseeings and nature is worth of a week-trip.
I visited Chersonesos - abandoned ancient Greek town on a Black Sea near Sevastopol with over 2000 year history. This place is quite beyoung imagination - preserved streets and temples are amazing.
