What's your favorite European city?

I know the most popular cities in Europe, but I am wondering about the reason/s why each one choose his favorite ...

My chouse is Paris, because I don't think there is another city that looks so good at night...

I have a feeling I may get some interesting answers...

Favourite countries Austria and switzerland so much to do. Skiing, paragliding, cycling etc or just a stroll through the country side. Also love Italy, so many historic cities and great food.

I love Riga. Everything is cheap, the food is great, the locals are laid back and the nightlife is awesome.

IMO, Venice is one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Europe. Tourism is big business that’s the reason majority of romantic travelers and honeymoon couples visit this awesome place.

Paris is the most beautiful city in Europe ,the new 2012 listing rates Sofia, Krakow and Budapest as the cheapest major tourist cities in Europe, that is beneficial and more people come to visit because of low budget.
