    Hello!

I was there last summer, and I really enjoyed a halfday trip to Gozo. The Azure Window and that area was really nice! But, Malta is full of tourist places, tourist offices and places that wants to sell you everything, so though we had made no preparations before we left to Malta, we had no problem filling up our schedule during our stay.

Valetta is a nice city, but for us it was not a big hit. What we though liked was this day trip around all of Malta with boat

it depends if you are looking for lots of night life or peace and relaxation. Sliema/St. Julians if you want the night life, Melliha or Gozo if you want scenery and peace. But beware right now its extremely hot (44 degrees at 1pm today) the weather guys arent saying it but Im in Malta now and checked the thermometer in my own balcony. It was too hot to get out and go to the beaches, so forget riding the bus (none have air-con). Taxi's are expensive and beaches arent all what they say as lots of them are dirty with sewage so be careful.

Malta is a great place to have fun. When it's hot, you can just stay indoors and enjoy a cocktail. There are a few bars near the beaches which can be quite enjoyable. I stayed at a hotel near the beach in St Julian's thanks to RihlaPrime last year. I've saved a lot of money which I've spent on cocktails

Most, if not all Maltese beaches carry the EU standard BLUE FLAG. It is not true that there is sewage, you are talking in the past. Malta has been voted as the best place to live in the WHOLE WORLD . We Maltese, live in a 365 days holiday Most other nations envy us !!! Malta has much much more to give to the tourist than the usual rhetoric destinations like Greece Cyprus, London Paris NewYork ! Being unknown, and small does not mean its meaningless. We have a history second to none. With remains and evidence to seein our museums and temples. spanning from 5000bc to the world war 2 IT IS NOT WHERE IT IS BUT WHAT IT IS

I think you should look into Sliema and St. Julians first - and then look into smaller, tucked away places like Mellieha Bay.

twinklekhanna! I agreed with you my friend I have visited there a year ago before my boston washington bus tours with my friends . Valleta is the capital of of Malta which is situated in the central-eastern portion. There are plenty of best places but few of them are my favourite places there. Now, I am going to share here.
