We've lived in Copenhagen for a few years and it's a wonderful city to visit. It features world-class accommodations and the "best restaurant in the world" Noma .

But price plenty of money. Denmark is EXPENSIVE - very expenisve. We used to leave the country and travel as our money went much further.

Trains can get you anywhere in Denmark, and locally bikes are the way to go. We did not own a car, but did have bikes.

Billund is across the country so not sure I'd get there. We also liked Egeskov Castle, located in the south of the island of Funen. We also liked the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde. Good Luck!

Dont forget to bring enough money because most of the tourist places are expensive. If you have enough time in cph I would also suggest that you take the train over the bridge and visit Malmo.
