Miami airport to Lauderdale Cruise port

Does anyone know of the logistic of transferring from Miami airport to the Cruise port in Ft. Lauderdale? Looks like I can get much better connections with award miles if I fly into Miami
instead of Ft. Lauderdale. But --- the cruise I desire is out of FL.

is there a bus connection? or must one take a taxi? How long is the transfer? What are the costs?
