  • What to do in Seattle, Washington (and Surrounding States)

    Hi All,

I'm planning a family trip to Seattle, Washington for later this year. I'm looking for tourism stuff to do for both the family (fully grown, no children) and myself as an individual. I'm thinking very much along the lines of scenery and the great outdoors but am also open to other areas (eg historic).

If anyone has been in Seattle or it's surrounding areas on holiday, I'd appreciate details of your experience (eg what would you recommend and what would you avoid etc etc).

Thanks in Advance for all responses.

I would recommend going to to the Space Needle. It's probably the biggest attraction in Seattle.

          Hello Frcrilly,

Seattle is a coastal city.It is named after Chief Sealth, of the Duwamish and Suquamish tribes. I have heard alot about it. You should visit there. It has mild climate classified as Marine west coast.

The Space Needle is Seattle's most recognizable landmark. The Smith Tower was the tallest building on the West Coast from its completion in 1914 until the Space Needle overtook it in 1962.The city also designates its own landmarks.

          Hope you wil enjoy trip.

I have not been there but I heard about it through my Uncle. Who have been there about three months ago with his friends. He told me much about it. I have a plan to go to there before my Niagara falls tours from Edison, NY once in coming holidays with my few cousins. I will stay there for two days. I want to explored its historical places.
