I have decided to do a long trip roughly 1-2 months just moving around, preferably on land. I just had a couple of questions on how to go about this type of trip.
Right now I’m considering South America or Middle East/ Europe. I’m leaning towards South America because I doubt I’ll ever get a chance to go down that way in the future.
My first question is, when you travel as tourist, is it best to try and blend In with the public? I’m just a little worried about this because I’ll most likely be on my own. (I don’t plan on hitting”only” the touristy areas so just a little concerned, or do they just leave you alone?). Second, what type of baggage/luggage do you carry on these yogi type trips where your just a wanderer looking for inspiration and stopping here and there to take in the scenery.
As for South America what type of clothing is it best to pack. Heavy and warm or light and breezy? The target months for this trip are December to February.
Thanks
