The vlogger reviews the Sawadee flagship hotel in Central Pattaya, part of the Sawadee chain of about five hotels. He booked online for about 500 baht (~$15 USD) per night.
The hotel has ample parking, especially for bikes, and some covered spaces for cars. The swimming pool is a highlight — it’s large, has plenty of chairs, and can also be used by guests from other Sawadee hotels.
At check-in, staff were friendly and helpful, though rooms aren’t usually ready until 2 PM with last-minute deals. The lobby includes seating, a luggage scale, and a restaurant offering reasonably priced meals, including 99-baht specials and fruit smoothies.
The room itself is a bit unconventional, with the mattress on a raised platform. It includes a large in-room safe (plus lobby safes), a beanbag chair, coffee station, mini fridge with freezer, two free bottles of water, and a drying rack. There’s also a small closet with bins and hangers.
The bathroom is somewhat unusual, with the sink located in the subdivided shower area. It has a hot water heater, shower curtain, soap dispenser, and a vanity with hairdryer.
Entertainment-wise, the room includes a modern flatscreen TV with a good picture and working air conditioning. The only downside noted was some nighttime noise from nearby bars with live bands.
The hotel is located right on Soi Buakhao, near Soi Honey and LK Metro, with easy access to baht buses. This makes it one of the most convenient central locations in Pattaya for nightlife and transportation.
Overall, the vlogger describes the Sawadee flagship as an excellent value-for-money choice, offering a good balance of location, price, and amenities for around $15 per night.
